Why not a 2600 and just OC the difference?

I would get a nice air cooler over a 120mm AIO, they perform much better.

Performance wise? 200MHz base clock

Cost wise? $60

Overclock ability? Minimal at best

The 2600X does come with a better stock cooler but if you're replacing that then it's not worth it.

If you go with the above, you will be saving money on the CPU, just OC it yourself to get better perf.

Better cooler, I have this one myself and it is a brilliant cooler on my 1700 OCed to 3.8Ghz all cores... I did have it higher, and it coped very well, I just prefer to downclock a little if I don't need the extra perf all the time.

Bigger SSD for only $7 or so more... bigger HDD too.

Cheaper RAM and still good.

Cheaper mobo, that is a brilliant mobo for OCing going by reviews I have seen.
