Mixing CL16 memory with CL14 memory?

I'm currently using 2 x 8GB 3200MHz G.skill memory with CL14 (samsung B-die)

I wanna upgrade to 32GB but CL14 ver. is no longer available from where I live, only CL16 ver. is available.

Is it ok to mix CL16 ram with CL14? btw my motherboard is Asus Strix X370 (Ryzen).

Yes, but they will all run at CL16 then.

Anyway, you may run into issues when trying to run 3200MHz with 4 sticks on Ryzen

After some reading, you'll have one of these two happen to you.

1. It works and just works at the slower latency

2. It doesn't work at all =/

wish I could help you...
