Is it possible to mix two different gou

Hello there, I was wondering if it was possible to mix a Radeon rx 580 and a GTX 1060 onto the same motherboard?

They can't work together, but they could work separately (like some sort of render use case).

So yes.. and no.. Depending on what you do.

I was wondering since, I am buying a prebuilt PC with a ryzen 5 2600 with a GTX 1060 3gb. But I am also buying a rx 580 8gb.

you can mix nvidia 2 card with diffrent sli program 

but its worth it ?

Because it is cheap and I can it can get better fps on games than the GTX 1080 sometimes.
