pc reboot randomly

hey i build a new computer last month and everything worked fine but now it’s rebooting randomly i start up and play games and it reboot i start up and do nothing and reboot after a wile the temperature is low cpu is never over 60c and the gpu never over 70c i have a

gtx1080 and cpu i9-7900X and ASUS ROG Rampage VI Extreme and m2 ssd 250gb and a ssd 500gb and a hhd 1t and 1000 power supply i don’t get any error  message do any one know what rong

When it restarts do you get the windows restart screen?

1) most likely a ram problem (disable XMP)

2) download prime 95 and real temp (run a blend test) check CPU temp

no it just goes black and few seconds off and then reboots

yeah, just because the ram says it can do 3400mhz, it does not mean that speed is guaranteed to work on your specific mobo. Disable the XMP but try to see if you tweak it little by little.

it happened again white the xmp disabled should i get new ram or is there something else rong whit it

faulty ram is unlikely but that could be it.

 

What happened during the prime 95 blend test? Tell me the temperatures. Did you run it for at least 30 minutes? Around 45 minutes should be good enough. Please post the temperature graph.

well i run it for 50min and no errors and and the temp was 57 - 68 C i didn’t get a temp graph

okay good, then it is not the ram or the CPU problem. it could be a faulty PSU. check the connectors to make sure.
