It takes like 5 min  and is just a few screws, thats the easy way and is garanteed to get you the right size fan.

 

Also can you check the size of the vents?

It is 1U switch so maybe 40mm X 40mm X 20mm

 

Just be careful when replacing fans in old enterprise gear with non OEM. Especially if the fan speed is slower than the OEM. Some gear tends to complain or possibly not even boot if it detects what it thinks is a hardware problem.
