Low humming from speakers

There is a low humming sound coming from my speakers and I cannot figure out what it is.  It is not from my PC and I tried multiple outlets

What speakers...?

Do they make the sound when not plugged into anything.

The subwoofer on my speaker set is making a humming sound whenever it is plugged into the wall, doesnt matter what else is connected.

Probably just a crappy amp that's amplifying EMI.

Can't really fix that.
