Posted September 29, 2018 Turn off Vsync, check your Nvidia control pannel or whatever they call it for any power limiters or frame caps. Also check your CPU usage. Could be a Windows scheduler issue. Posted September 29, 2018 Far Cry 5 probably uses a double-buffered V-sync setup; if you prefer to keep that on, turn on Adaptive V-sync in the Nvidia Control Panel. Posted September 29, 2018 Then that is the problem. Should be way higher than that. Your CPU isnt processing enough frames for some reason. I guess I would try reinstalling FarCry? Outside of that it might be a Windows issue that I personally don't know how other fix other than a reinstall.
