Hey all,

I'd just like to introduce myself a little bit. I'm an avid computer junkie and absolutely have fallen in love with watching tech videos and browsing forums again. I fell out with tech for a while, but my new years resolutions are bringing me back on target (which is weird to say, but think of it as less games, more everything else).

Alright, so my new year's resolution still allows me to drink Pepsi or Coke - sue me...

My current set up is a cookie-cutter 350D build with 2x GTX780Ti - you can guess the rest based on the "cookie-cutter" comment. I do play video games, but I have been doing so a lot less than I used to.

If anyone has any questions for me, I'd be more than willing to answer (almost) anything. I'm here to socialize and share a common interest, so hopefully I can find some good friends!

Anyhow, I've lurked for a while and wanted to finally join up to chat.

Cheers!

Welcome

Do you have an iOS device?

Add that to my post.

Thank you all for the welcomes.

I don't actually have an iOS device, nor do I support certain aspects of government - so no worries there, hah.

I do, however, have plans to grab a poutine after work today (if anyone would like to join).

My device list is pretty standard I would say:

Samsung F9000 w/ PS4

Samsung Galaxy S4 w/ cracked screen (I cried, it's the 3rd one I've cracked)

My Windows-based PC w/ Asus PB278Q

So, nope - no iOS. Hah.

Edit Add-In:

I do love my GTX780Ti's. They're amazing, but they're honestly complete overkill for what I do. Battlefield 4 runs no better (to the eye) on 2 vs. 1 at 1440p (but I can record slow motion, woo).

Don't be sorry for being Canadian, I wish i were Canadian.

Don't be wishing crazy things. It's -35C here, and yesterday was -41C. On the bright side, it did warm up to only -25C at one point yesterday.

Now, if you live somewhere warm, I would be more than happy to switch places for the rest of the winter season.

Here in the Netherlands they forecasted a "horror-winter". Today's temperature was 12C...

So much for winter! I hate cold.

Anyways: welcome to the community!

Trust me, I would change 40º for - 40º for the opportunity of living in a "first world" country.

Signatures are stupid.

In Gatineau?

Have you ever been to La Belle Province? best poutine is there.

I'm actually in the Ottawa Valley (think Pembroke/Chapeau area). I have, however, been to a La Belle Province before. My favourites still remain mom/pop style poutine trucks, but it is quite good!

As long as you have real cheese curds, a good beef gravy, and crispy fries - it's as real as it can get. Just make it with love, and perhaps wave your hands around while muttering french curse words!

Cheers all,

I'm definitely looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.

That being said, I've been pretty good on keeping up with tech news for the last little while. I run a computer shop at the moment, so I could never be too far gone - hah.

Looking forward to being a part of some interesting discussions!
