Hi guys,

So, I am trying to setup a quad GPU build and i unfortunately bought a wrong motherboard as below:

https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-X399-E-GAMING/

This board is compatible with 3 GPUs as it says on the box but is it possible to perhaps fit one on any of the other slots it has?

Below GPUs is what I have bought:

https://www.amazon.com/GeForce-Gaming-DisplayPort-Graphics-TURBO-GTX1080TI-11G/dp/B06Y31FYWY/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1530640629&sr=1-2-fkmr0&keywords=1080ti%2Bblower%2Bstyle&th=1

Thanks for your input.

What do you plan to use the build for?

Are you willing to go water cooled?

If you plan to SLI them, it won't work.

You could. It's a 4x slot though. Wouldn't be fun.

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example.
