Is this a good deal?

No. Don't buy anything AMD before Ryzen.

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 Ghz  | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 |  PaliT GTX 1050Ti  |  8gb Kingston HyperX Fury @ 2933 Mhz  |  Corsair CX550m  |  1 TB WD Blue HDD

Inside some old case I found lying around.

Not a good deal. These parts are all best bought used, to save some money.

upgrading your budget to this would be better, even though it's absolutely bottom of the barrel, you won't be locking yourself on ancient hardware. it should be only $40 more ish.

to make up for it, find a used 1050 ti off eBay (make sure to filter for used items to avoid the scammers)

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I agree with bleedblue, if I were you I'd really try to go for an AMD Ryzen CPU, or even one of Intel's lower end offerings. Those FX CPUs are so old, and just can't perform well enough to justify owning them. You'd be better off buying a refurbished dell/hp desktop and putting that 1050 ti in it.

I used to use that same CPU, and I had enough a little over a year ago with how bad it performed.

What is the budget?

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
