to sum this up a bit more.

i found out today. that  the Cooler Master MA621P TR4 Twin Tower  wont fit on a

asrock tanchi mobo    with ram to screw it down on one side. due to vrm heatsinks on both side of the chip socket. looking for a affordable air cooled or liquid cool heat sink. will neeed past to

You need to give exact model of mobo, ram and case in order to eliminate coolers that won't fit.

its  ASRock X399 Taichi sTR4 AMD X399 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX AMD Motherboard

ram is dd4 3200 pc4-25600 gksill

case is a coolmaster h500

budget is for 110 or less. sorry i forgot to mention that. i so piss right now. i had a feeling one i got would not fit and when i got the ram in i was right just by looking at it and the mobo.

You can use just about any Asetek CLC and it will work. You just may not get the most out of the chip. The chip should have come with an Asetek bracket.

It might have corrosion issues but I know @Densetsu has one

I had to RMA my Gen 1 after pump failure. They sent me a brand new Gen 2 simply because they had no Gen 1 stock, but supposedly the pump issues were ironed out.

it did.  the at most oc i will do is 20 percent. thats it.

if need be i will pick one that will work up at a best buy iff i need to. seeing new egg mess up order for shipping and 2 parts finale got to me  near 2 week after i order them. idk why it took that long. everything else got to me in less then 3 days. seeing part price will be the same if i order from newegg or amazon. bb will price match it

I doubt BB has any native TR4 coolers, but as I said, the Asetek cooler will "do the job."

They have a return policy, so if you can't OC at all, you can return it.

IMO your choices are to opt for a single tower cooler and lose performance, but save money.  Or you stretch your budget for a better AIO.  There's not really a whole lot in between you can do atm, nor is it worth cheaping out on an AIO.

I found this 6heatpipe single tower cooler from deepcool.  I have no idea if it's good.  I'm guessing a small overclock may be obtainable.

both mobo have same vrm heatsink. the cool master is one bumping into to vrm hs just a bit

the left top of the mobo where the other vrm has just the room to fit ram stick into. if move any it will not let ram go into slot. on the other part of the heatsink.    top part.  would be off. its one long heat pipe their.

last yon the pic with the 2 bull sticker is where the input whole are. again  the ram is blocking the area on the right side. if you install 4 more ram sticks.

i read up. even with the  water cooling. i read a few. the corsier are not looking good at all.

i did see this one Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3 premium-grade 140mm CPU cooler for AMD TR4/SP3 

 i will be running seti@home when not using pc.  again if need be even 15 oc is fine with me. i read alot with this one and barly any bad reviews and can handle a work load.

Yeah, that one should work fine, it probably has the best clearance of all TR4 air coolers.  Your TR is still gonna run warmer than it would have with a dual tower, but the board unfortunately didn't account for it.  I would guess asrock only tested it for AIOs.

yeap. but from what a gather adding a second fan to this helps way more. strangely due to dense of the fins. which can i get another fan for this??? i never bought a extra fan for a heatsink before.... how would i get a second fan with metal attachment for this heat sink. seeing by the log of the design it was meant for 2 of them

I just checked, it does come with a second fan mount, so you'll just need to buy the other NF-F12 fan.  It'll help a bit, sure.

ah ok i spotted it. thanks for the help. it did suck  that the heat i had was not correctly tested for this mobo.

Well thats news to me that is the cooler on my TR4 1950x on an as rock X399 taichi mobo with gskill flare x the Cooler Master MA620P Twin Tower does not have the correct bracket for TR4 I did have to remove the outer fan to install but it goes right back on without issue once installed

my ram has a different heat sink. and my ram is quad channel.

i did look at the 33 hs but for where it is going to sit and also what am going to do. it would not really work for me
