1080Ti SLI vs 2080ti

have a Ryzen 1700x(going to 2700x) and a 1080ti atm.

 

BUT wondering if its worth going SLI vs single 2080ti.(another Ti is £350-400 on the bay) 

 

( game at 1080p 60hz, with max settings/lots of AA/mods)

No point, SLI scaling is minimal

Whaaaat, why would you want TWO 1080ti or a 2080ti for 1080p 60hz? What?

SLI scaling is really bad and you don't need that FFS. You play 1080p 60hz.

What games are you looking at?

 

You should be getting more FPS in some titles, about the same amount in others and a bit less in those with poor scaling.

 

That being said unless you heavily DSR, your CPU will be extremely bottlenecking you. Ryzen isn't the best idea for SLI in the first place and here you have it paired with a 1080p monitor.

SLI 1080ti can sometimes be worst than single 1080ti... nvida logic. (ps i know its cause its not really supported well)

Probably trolling, 1700x to 2700x gee totally needed upgrade.

 

1080 Ti 2way SLI for 1080p60hz... I am yet to see my single 1080 Ti not maximize whatever game at 2560x1080p

 

A single 1080 Ti might even be capable of Ray Tracing at 1080p60hz just fine from what I have seen.
