 you could start by giving us the Spec of the system.
And the Maker and Modelnumber of the PSU

It's saying literally what the problem is. It's because you're using other overlay utilities to overclock which is certainly not stable and that's why the drivers crash to restore the settings back to its default so you don't fry your VRMs (if you're tweaking extream voltage) or degrade the gpu core or mem pathways.

Disable the program overlay and watch for the results. It better not crash anymore if neither of the core and mem clock presets are modified by any third party utility

console.log("way to pro");

I haven't overclocked anything but I am using GPU Tweak 2

I did change my memory clock speeds to the one on the packet

my PSU is Corsair VS650

My CPU is i7-8700k

GPU: GTX 1060 6gb Strix OC gaming edition

motherboard: ASUS Prime h370-a

thats the main parts

BTW what does it mean by overlay?

Yellow Label or White Label?

If so, pls replace it with a better unit. Something like Bitfenix Formula.

Check Window Event Viewer for any errors/warnings regarding For Honor or graphic driver.

Wait is it only with For Honor? If so you kinda need to include that info...

Did it come with the software bundle your card's manufacturer included or you additionally installed any third party one?

Even though the sets of presets you get to dial in are meant to be safe and stable in most case but still depending on the circumstances, things can go unstable because in one way or another, you're making the clocks run in a high scale than what it originally came with which is Overclocking. You can't say that it isn't the program causing the issue as long as you don't remove it and test it.

It can mean a lot of things, depending on the circumstances. It can mean just a UI pop-up of some application on top of another, it can even mean some third-party program modifying the properties, settings on top of an original program/driver.

console.log("way to pro");

You should replace it anyway.

If we are talking about that one:

https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Power/Plug-Type/vs-series-config/p/CP-9020051-NA

That should be replaced, @jonnyGURU might even agree with that.

But I'd check the Memory for errors, but replace the PSU anyway so that you can have fun with your system for as long as possible. Because a good PSU extends the life of the Components.

Do I just put the clock speed for the memory on auto then?

If I do what do you recommend?

Depends on where you live if you want something OKish or good.

If available for a good Price, Bitfenix Formula is a good choice, if you want fully modular, Whipser M or be quiet Straight Power 11.

If you don't overclock, 450W is enough, if you want to, get the ~5-10€ more expensive 550W.

Remember: Always go for the highest quality you can afford, not the highest wattage.

As wattage is secondary, if it is enough, its enough. More doesn't give you much benefits, if at all...

You only need more than 450W if you are constantly stressing all of your parts, you're getting an enthusiast level CPU, getting into SLI, or ludicrous amounts of other components.
