~$950-$1100. Not sure if you're including peripherals and a monitor, though.

I assume you're from the UK? If not, just change the URL to www. instead of uk.pcpartpicker.com

Storage: Seagate Barracuda ES.2 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£48.99 @ Amazon UK)

Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 280X 3GB Video Card (£224.48 @ Amazon UK)

There are various ways to cut the cost down heavily, but this has all the bells and whistles. Very quality system. EDIT: I went with a 750W PSU for a 2nd card later if you want it. You may want an 850/900W PSU instead, though.

I quickly made this up http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2uWON what do you guys think of it, something along these lines. I have shopped around for a similar build and I can get a monitor and keyboard and mouse and the rig for the same price as the rig alone on part picker
