connect the black and green and the psu will turn on.

plug anything you like to test.

i don't see the reason why you're not testing with the motherboard?

how do i test my pump without turning the mother board , i know that i need to connect the green and black wires BUT i saw you talk about PSU and WALL , please i need to define those phrases i`m so new in this stuff  please keep that in mind while advice me

Note that you must run fluid through the pump or it will prematurely wear out the bearings, but all you need is to connect molex or sata power to the unit depending on your pump.

Plug the pump to a molex or sata connector

Connect the res outlet to the inlet of the pump and the pump oulet to res inlet. if it is a pump res combo connect inlet and outlet of the pump.

Fill up the pump with water (clean tap water is good enough for testing) or coolant

If it is a pwm pump connect the PWM connector to +5 volts (the red wire on the molex connector) DO not connect it to the yellow wire - it is 12 volts it will fry you pump PWM controller

After all of that connect the black and the green pin on the 24 pin connector

Turn the power swith on.

you should see water running
