If its just cloudy plastic, a bit of PlastX can do wonders. These are pics from my annual maintenance.

Thanks man that's it :) they are exactly like that phew...

Hi guys,

I have a EK-Supremacy EVO copper, I took appart my machine yesterday and it seems that the insert inside the cpu block has been damaged. When I say damaged I mean, before it was clear transparent plastic with "sharp" edges and it would feel plastic, now its foggy rubbery and kinda sticks. Does this mean I have to buy a new one? And also where can I get a new one? I looked at EKs website and I couldn't find a thing.

Thank you in advance.

Pictures would help. It could just be that stuff has built up over time and it needs some cleaning. Have your rinsed/cleaned it?

Yes, I will post once I get home. I did clean it with dish soap and used toothbrush to clean it.

According to this: https://proclockers.com/reviews/cooling/ek-supremacy-mx-cpu-waterblock-review?nopaging=1 you can buy them from somewhere I have checked multiple online stores but no luck.

Quote: "The insert is identical to the standard insert that comes with the Supremacy EVO. Optional inserts can be purchased to change the performance characteristics of the block."
It also show a picture of the original insert

Ah that thing. Yeah I've never seen replacements for sale for that to be honest. As long as performance didn't drop significantly I wouldn't really bother.
