Is 2715 x 1527 2560-1440?

WeedIsMySin

Hi, i recently bought the Dell Ultrasharp u2715h 2560 x 1440p 60hz monitor. The problem is: When i start up ANY game the 2560/1440p resolution option is just not there. Instead i get the 2715 x 1527 resolution option.. Did i get ripped off?

Here is the monitor : https://azerty.nl/product/dell/795241/ultrasharp-u2715h-led-monitor-27--27-zichtbaar-?gclid=CjwKCAjw8ajcBRBSEiwAsSky_dSaEHB87doBBUNL6iwk8sDCFnMEgTOGTPrc78qZExXuklvcwSVt4BoCRREQAvD_BwE

It seems like a driver issue rather than a monitor issue.

I downloaded the latest driver that was released august 27.

I appreciate the help buddy but i know nothing of PC's. The first sentence of your comment is like Chinese to me lol. And yes i am connected via HDMI. I thought that cable was needed to get your monitor to even work lol.

I think that monitor is limited to 2048×1080 over HDMI. You need to use DisplayPort to get 2560×1440. Your monitor should have come with a DisplayPort cable included.

NVIDIA DSR is a method of "faking" a higher resolution as a form of anti-aliasing. You can disable it by opening the NVIDIA control panel and unchecking all the "DSR Factors" options here:

I restarted my PC, which actually gave me the option to run games at 2560x1440. Do i still need to use a DisplayPort cable or is my HDMI cable fine?
