Hello,

I tried to search myself, but what I found seems unnecessarily hard.

The problem is, that I have 100 Mbit/s internet at my home shared with my roommates and when I download something through Chrome, if the source server allows it, the download hogs basically the whole bandwidth, which is unnaceptable, since my roommates are working in home office and need stable internet speed.

Is there any easy to manage way to limit Chrome download speed?

Yes that is the unnecessarily hard way to me. Having to setup the profile each time I want to download something just seems stupid.

Few times a week actually, which hogs the bandwidth for like hour or more per download.

Wait a moment, if set few values is too hard then what kind of program do you want?

I remember DU Super Controller back in XP era (not working anymore). There is also NetLimiter, but is paid. I don't know other limit transfers program since I don't need them anymore.
