Move softwares from another hard drive

Well, not really. Even if you physically just moved it, it likely won't work.

 

Either you clone the original HDD to it and you're good to go straight away..

 

Or get the installation media and start a fresh.

 

With Steam I usually install the client, set the game installing, close it all down, dump the game files in from my old HDD, Start it up again and let it finish, verify game files. That's about it.

So I just got a new SSD and I'm now running on it. But every thing is fresh new and I have wondering how can I move softwares from my old HDD (like games and stuff) to my new one.
