SOLVED - External usb drive won't sleep

Hi folks i got a little problem with my Porche Lacie External usb 3.0 drive and Windows10.. 

it seems that when connected to my PC with windows 10 this drive is always ON it never go in sleep mode

and its got a lot of heat.

 

it work well in my mac but never with win10

 

can anyone advice me? thanks

Windows might be always accessing the drive to look for changes, so it might no go to sleep. That would be my only guess, though.

 

Edit: I have a drive that does the same thing in win 8.1. It will even run slowly when the pc is in sleep mode.
