Question about case and psu for my build

HRM

So this will be my first build and am a little naive when it comes to temperatures and what amount of power is needed.  I plan on overclocking my 4770K to around 4.4ghz and having x2 GTX 780Ti SLi setup and am worried if my case, cooling, and psu are sufficent.  I am getting the Corsair TXM850 and replacing the fans in the H100i with the SP120's and putting 3 AF140's in the case, 2 in front 1 on back.  The case is a Fractal Design Define R4.  Do you guys think I will be ok with this?  Maybe add one more AF140 on the bottom for good measure?  Here is the build list...

The cooling and psu is sufficient but quite costly.

What's the system being used for?

Is the bluray drive really necessary?

You can take a look at the Arc Midi R2. The case has better airflow than the R4 so you won't have to worry about the temperatures.

System will be used for gaming, graphic design, programming.  The blueray is for programs/games that you install with a CD and watch bluerays with.

What's with the 780 Ti sli? What resolution are you gaming at?

And I believe that Nvidia is rolling it out with 120Hz 1080p gaming monitors first.

Well Someone's rich. :)

Welcome to the Forum!

Anyway, Here are a few of my suggestions:

1) Go push - pull on you H100i with SPs on push and AF's on pull

2) Scrap the Blue and go for blacks (better reliability)

3) Why not get a Dual Pack of the AF fans?

4) I prefer the RM Series. Nice Flat Black cables.

5) go Windows 8.1

6) replace the 40mm fan at the back of the sabertooth with a noctua fan trust me BIG difference in overall cooling. :D

Not rich, just not that many expenses and been saving up for it.  I didn't see the option to get a 2-pack of the AF140's.  Replacing the 40mm fan eh? is the installation easy enough?

I was kidding. :)) I know What's it like to save up for a rig, You'd want it to last you a while I'm guessing. :)

Pretty much the same as installing the stock ones. You may also case the one up front (near the PCI brakets) but color might stand out. (its also a bit bigger by 5mm)

And you are correct sir. I have been reading so much lately on this build I must have jumbled some stuff up thinking it was 2560 x 1440.  Guess I am going  to have to wait a little while to get the 2560x1440 with g-sync

You should get a 1440p IPS panel since you work with graphics, they go for around $500, like that one. Since you will be constatly at 60FPS with your cards in pretty much every game, I don't think you need G-Sync.

I wouldn't bother with gsync and just grab 2 290's + a nice 1440p ips panel right now.
