Help.....

Hey everyone, I just finished building first PC and I ran into some troubles and they are driving me crazy.

1. How do I connect my PC to the ethernet? I've installed the drivers provided my Asrock, but still no internet.

2. now that I have my system on my ssd, how can I install my HDD

Thanks everyone.

Question 1

What type of modem do you have.

you may, just need to connect a Eternet cable, RJ45 from your computer to modem,Your MB should have a connection, for that.

Windows will take care of the rest. You may need to do a clean install of windows with the Eternet cable connected.

Question 2

Just install the HDD with the same procedure  as SSD. Sata cable + power

The Sata cable will be connected to a second Sata data port ( look in manual )

Have you reinstall Windows. May be corrupted drivers

If you have a phone, try to connect to internet via phone ( wifi )

after a whole night troubleshooting, I finally found the problem. I set my pc up in the basement, and I kept getting "DNS server not responding" from the Ethernet port on the basement wall. But when I brought my PC up stair and connected to the router directly, everything worked. Looks like I have to  fix that ethernet port, do you have any suggestions or do I have to buy a wifi adapter to use my pc downstairs?

Don't get a wifi adapter if you are far away from the router. Get a Powerlink. Its a device that plugs into a power point near your router with an ethernet port that you plug into your router, then another device near your pc that you plug into it.

I know. I need to update this. And I will. Eventually.
