Can my motherboard use a fan splitter?

My motherboard is the msi h310m pro-vh I want to add 2 more fans but only have 1 fan header, is a splitter safe to use on my motherboard?

Yes as long as the fans you put on it doesn't exceed it's capacity, most headers are able to handle a total of 1Amp.

Could you recommend some, I don’t care about rgb they just need to be really quiet.

How quiet they are depends on your fans and the fan curve you configure in your system not the splitter itself. If you are using 4 pin PWM fans you can get power splitters like theses which take no power from your motherboard just a control signal.

1 of theses fans use 0.9A so these wouldn't work with a slitter would they....

PW2's are good. The fans use 0.09A, not 0.9A.
