No. None at this stage. Current x86 PC's lack the power to emulate the PPC architecture at the speed of consoles from what I can gather.

the WII took a little playing with the settings to optimize for me, but it runs great.

I want to say you need 3x the power of the system being emulated for it to be playable.

I haven't even seen any xbox emulators so I don't think we'll see a 360 emulator anytime soon.

and the ps3 is an 8 core 3ghz system, way to complex to emulate anytime soon.

Will work for electronic components and parts

Not sure I completely understand this but does this mean even if someone built a pc that has more power than a 360 or PS3' date=' we still couldn't emulate it?[/quote']

It has to do more than just emulate the games, it has to emulate the ENTIRE console, that's the problem.

Currently yes, we have more horsepower in most of our computes than the PS3 or Xbox 360, but it isn't enough/we don't have enough human resources working on the project for the entire console to be emulated.

Currently, the most recent consoles we have emulated are the PS2(it's half and half), Wii(still in a wonky state), and the original Xbox has some emulators out there, but it is nowhere near playable performance(hell I can't even get a game to run!).

It's all a waiting game. Every other emulator from Dreamcast to PS1 is great though!

I think especially for the PS3 it may take a while to get one running decently because of the weirdness of it's CPU architecture.

Need to emulate decently fast core and then 7 other cores as per WIkipedia:

"3.2 GHz PowerPC-based "Power Processing Element" (PPE) and six accessible Synergistic Processing Elements (SPEs). A seventh runs in a special mode and is dedicated to aspects of the OS and security, and an eighth is a spare to improve production yields."
