How to remove WindowsOld Files

My windows installation was weird, but I worked it out and now I have the regular windows files, along with two other files listed as WindowsOld and WindowsOld.0000. I tried to get rid of them but it said I needed something from system. They take up a lot of space on my SSD so how could I remove them?

Use Disk Cleanup.  It should be installed in Windows by default.

I just use CCleaner, but to each their own.

 

Disk Cleanup does the job pretty much as you want it though.

As said, Disk Cleanup in C: properties, then click Clean up system files and select Old Windows installation there.
