CPU core's running "cool" CPU running hot

Been running AIDA for 40 min. 

The cores on my 8700K is running at ok temps, but the CPU is running way hotter. 

Any pointers?

Those temps look OK, I wouldn't worry about it.

Workstation:

Intel Core i7 6700K | AMD Radeon R9 390X | 16 GB RAM

Mobile Workstation:

MacBook Pro 15" (2017) | Intel Core i7 7820HQ | AMD Radeon Pro 560 | 16 GB RAM

ooooooooh you mean CPU as in what it says in the program, thats the CPU Package Temp i think, not sure.

but either way your temps are great :) you shouldn't worry about it

But what is the cpu package? And will it affect my PWM settings for fan speed vs temp ?
