Phanteks case question

Gedgn

How is the Phanteks Enthoo Pro M TG compared to now a days? I can't find any reviews on it, well found one from kitguru but doesn't cover airflow and noise. I can't find information on it which makes me hesitant to buy this case. I ask because Phanteks Eclipse series, Evolv, Elite have bad airflow/noise cancellation.

Any thoughts on this case?

Best & worst cases for your money in 2018 are:

Best Cases overall

I) Fractal Design Meshify C - Airflow and relatively quiet, best all around case

I) Phanteks Enthoo Pro M / Special Edition (white interior) - Airflow & full water cooling support

I) Fractal Define R6 - Silent with decent airflow

I) Be Quiet! DB 900 (Full Tower) - Airflow and silent

I) Fractal Design Meshify C mini (mATX)

I) Corsair 400C - Only use with low end components, no 1080 / TI

I) Phanteks 350X - Only use with low end components, no 1080 / TI

I) Fractal Design Focus G

Cases that may be worth your money

I) Thermaltake G21 - GPU and CPU cooling issues, modest tweaking
I) Silverstone RL06 / Pro - Mustard/Ketchup wires, Shitty cable management, Poor front radiator support, useless psu filter, stupid ssd layout
I) In Win 303

I) Coolermaster H500 no suffix - if 200mm fans are your thing

I) NZXT H700 non "i" version - Needs to come down in price to be worth it

I) Corsair Carbide 100R - Suitable for low end builds

The worst cases - Do Not Buy

I) NZXT S340/Elite, H500, H440 (everything except the H700) Reason: Poor airflow
I) Coolermaster Masterbox 5

Majority of cases on the market

I personally own a P400S and its quiet and I have zero thermal issues.  My wife owns the same case as well with no noise or thermal issues.

As for the Enthoo Pro M TG its a really good case.  I just ordered one for my brother in laws build and the quality on it is very nice.  Looks like the air flow will be pretty good to but I won't know more till I get the rest of his components.

Honestly, it's a first time I've heard a P400S owner say it has no airflow issues. I've talked to many Eclipse and Evolv case owners and they mention the thermal issues.

I actually have 3 P400S cases with 3 different builds in them.  My personal is still a work in progress but even under heavy load my cpu never hits above 70c and my gpu doesn't go above 72c.

My wifes build is an AMD FX 8350 with a decent OC with an MSI Rx 480 4gb reference cooler and hers is only about 2c above mine on average.

My last one is an AMD FX 8300 with a GTX 780ti with hard OC on cpu and gpu.  Its a little toastier at around 78c on the cpu and 80c on the gpu during heavy loads.

All I have done is my wifes setup and the 8300 setup is use high quality fans on it.  My personal one is the one with the weakest fans in all honesty.

P400S only works when you have good ambient temp. I live in the desert and my previous case was the Enthoo Pro M.

Yeah, this case is severly underrated, overlooked, and under appreciated.

The interior is almost EXACTLY the same as the Evolv ATX. So any reviews you see regarding the interior, cable managment, or build quality of that case applies to this. The airflow is 9/10, it doesnt get much better than open mesh front grills. For those who still for some reason care about a 5.25" bay, it's still there. This case ranks amongst my personal Top 5 cases, and it's sad that people either focus on its much more expensive and restrictive flagship older brother, or it's cheaper little bro. Most people dont even know the case exists.

I found this to be true, I've put in time to look cases and found this to be a great case. Was skeptical because the lack of reviews, but that ties into the people don't know about this case.

Just curious, as I like that this is in your top 5. What are the other 4 cases in your top 5?

Just curious, as I like that this is in your top 5. What are the other 4 cases in your top 5?

Fractal Design R6 for it's sheer flexibility and features at $150, the Meshify C for Giving us a good compact Airflow case around $80, after that it's hard for me to say. It's difficult to say "Top 5 ever" because it's hard to compare a $50 case to a $250 case, just in the mid tower category alone. Riotor CR1080 also comes to mind for it's uniqueness.
