i have singel ASUS R9 280X DCU2 (custome cooler) which i use for gaming,
since ASUS R9 290X DCU2 (custome cooler) will release soon..
should i..

change 280x to 290x
or
stay with singel 280x
or
get 1 more 280x for crossfire

and i heard 290X  is actually newer and more powerfull with true audio and a pcb that hasn't been a rebadged 7900 series card.

if will do a CF they is no reason i beleive to do it. Most games do not use more than one gpu. I you want 2 dual gpu get an ASUS  Mars which is the same level as the 780ti

Also the 290x wont do as much defference. Also if you want to upgrade i beleive you should wait for the nvidia 800 series. Maybe amd wil do somethink and price drops.

Also if you have the money to spend take a non-reference 290 / x.

The 280x is still a beasty card, so i don't see why you should upgrade. But i would recommend buying one more 280x, so you don't need to throw the one you have away. And because the 290x is really loud and stuff. Performance wise, there isn't really much difference, but the 290x Will outperform the 280x crossfire by very little

CPU: FX-8350, GPU: xfx radeon r9 290, RAM: corsair venegance 8gb, STORAGE; seagate barracuda 1TB hdd, SSDnow kingston 120gb, CPU COOLER: CM hyper 212 , CASE: fractal design XL, PSU: corsair CS 650w 80+ gold MOBO: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3

yes, i can get 30 ~ 45 FPS on crysis 3 AA = MSAA Medium (4x) , Texture resolution = very high

If you're satisfied with your current setup, there is no reason to upgrade.

Stuff I have I like: Moto G - Superlux HD681 Evo - Monoprice 9927

90% of what I say is sarcasm.
