What's the current price:performace go to SSD?

Been away from PCs for a while. Just need the best 250 gig SSD for the price for an OS nothing amazing. 

System: Thinkpad T460

shop on google/newegg/ebay

there thousands of ssd models , no such thing as one single best performing for the price pc part. theres always a better deal somewhere
