Dude did you skip on your ritalin or something? Calm down. Bad value means it's overpriced for what it does. Why do you want to buy it anyway, I see you say nothing in return like "i want to buy it for this reason, or that reason". If it's just to have a DAC because it will magically make everything sound better:

A. a good source does not have a sound signature

B. it's not a particularly good amplifier. In fact, I can't even find any specs for it. Meaning it's subpar by default.

the AE-5 suck ass, anybody that says it is good haven't heard a good DAC and amp, it is that simple. Also I know for a fact that the K712 comes with a adapter from 3.5 to 6.3, so either you have thrown it away or you didn't see it in the box or you bought them used.

The AE-5 cost 150 USD or so, you can spend 50 USD less and get the Schiit Fulla 2 and it is better or you can spend 50 USD more and either get a Schiit Magni 3 and a Schiit modi 2 or a IFI Black Label Nano.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

if you dont even seem to know the basics or care to listen to the people on here you should probably just run the onboard audio.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

so  to take off  the  gold  adapter  ??  this  you mean??

Yes it is gold. The adapter is preinstalled and it is 6.3mm, screw it off and you get 3.5mm...

Top pic is with it on, lower pic is with it off.

The adapter fits both the orange and the coiled cable.
