CPU for GTX1050ti

r3 1200 or i3 8100 with 1050ti?

R3 2200G use the pretty alright iGPU until you have money for a better GPU, or until next gen GPUs launch.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

i3 will get higher FPS in games and has an iGPU, which is nice to have just in case or to accelerate streaming/Premiere or when/if you'll reuse the CPU in a non-gaming system.

r3 has a socket that will be supported for longer, so better upgrade path.

Seeing as they're the same price at least where I live, I'd go for the i3.

Depends on what you need, the i3 has the iGPU which helps if you're streaming and transcoding, and although Ryzen has about 10% worse performance, with a great cooler it's a really happy overclocker, and also the AM4 platform should be supported for one more generation.

Athlon X2 for only 27.31$   Best part lists at different price points   Windows 1.01 running natively on an Eee PC

Pretty much that summs it up, you can further check it via their website. Still I would pick the Core i3 over the Ryzen Ram stuff
