Cheap Stream PC for PS4 build HELP

Hey everyone,

I'm a ps4 gamer and I just got an elgato HD60S so i could stream my PS4 as 1080p 60fps to OBS but unfortunately my computer is too old and doesn't have the necessary hardware to support the elgato. I wanted to try and build a rather cheap pc, around $500-$600, solely to stream. I will not be gaming on this computer and have never build a pc before. Any suggestions would be great appreciated and again its just for streaming.

                 Thanks!

Wont get much for $600. Look at used Ryzen 5 systems that have around 16GB ram, 8 minimum and see if you can negotiate around.

Yes. RX cards are good for things like that. And Ryzen CPUs are way better than Intel for things like rendering, streaming, and recording because they have more cores and threads.

The one I have is perfect for streaming. All you did was remove the Capture Card then added a GPU. I have an Elgato HD60. THey are really easy to power it. If he is using it just for streaming he should go Ryzen

  • Some AMD A320 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Raven Ridge CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.

I would drop the console and get a ryzen 7 system with a 1060 or RX580. You can use a controller with a USB wireless reciever or USB wired.
