NEED HELP on my XFX R9 290x

Hello. My card mentioned above has died because some of the caps have blown. It is not new but I wan to fix it. Dose anybody know how to id the blown components?

think your only option is to pick up a new card. ive got no clue, GPU failure on older cards appear to be random though more present on power hungry cards.

 

R9 290x goes for quite cheap on the used market. they still perform quite well

If it was one of the polymer caps that had blown, sure, but several SMD components... that's going to be a lot of very fiddly work to fix.

I know it would be a lot of work...but i would do it anyway. But i cant id the blown components :/ ...

Particularly at the bottom there's some advice on testing to see what cap you could get.  I would say attempt only if it's as an exercise and nothing else because the poster never replied after that to say it worked out for him.  Slim chance it'll actually work.  I would personally sell the card for parts.

With that many blown components, it was catastrophic, cascade failure. There is NO hope for this card.
