What Phone should I get?

I need a new phone, I've had my Nexus 5 for about 4.5 years, dropped it yesterday and it no longer works. Dont want to spend more than $500 Cad. I want a phone with a close to stock android, a decent battery and somewhat premium materials. I wanted to get the oneplus 5t but its 650$. Send me some recommendations please

one thing to consider is you could buy another nexus 5 and just repair your phone , maybe an option you didnt consider.
