No Mails

I have an huge problem I never got an Mail when someone replay my Tread.

Check you are following the thread. If not then you'll only be notified when someone quotes you. If you STILL don't get the mails then check your forum settings, and your junk mail settings.

Have you enabled emails from the link?

By default, you only get on-site notifications. You can enable email notifications in your notification settings - https://linustechtips.com/main/notifications/options/?type=new_comment#check_new_content_member_notifications_inline__wrapper

Because you don't get email notifications, or do you have other issues with it? If you have other issues, please do tell us so that we can try and get them changed. While there are certainly some issues with it, there aren't many major issues that haven't been resolved that I'm aware of, and we can't get things changed unless we know about them.

Please do tell which software is better. This one isn't perfect and the devs behind it are kinda bad in customer service. But only better solutions I've seen are phpBB and custom coded. From which latter is so much better, but also so much work for running community of this size.

I will use phpBB for my Forum. The "Demo" Installation run without problem. Sure with 1000x User the are a littlebit different. The Editor here is crap. I like how the phpBB Editor works. The Manangment for the user is much better in phpBB. At the moment I cant talk about the Admin side of the Forum because the are in an "Demo" Mode and I will build the Page. The "old" Style Software look much better. The new Version was overide my Stile so it look not that Good I hoped. Thats my Forum:

How is editor here bad? Or do you just like ability to see the code? I admit it was hard to get used to and I still would like option to edit code on mobile when using pics and other stuff which are objects but which mobile handles as links.

Sure I can Edit it out and remove any formation (or add some).

 

hmmI would say its not necessary to Edit the Code on Mobiles. Mobiles are still Mobiles and not Intend to work as an Desktop.
