Monitor isn't connecting

Hi everyone, i was going to do a new playthrough for Fallout New Vegas (Because it's the best fallout). I've actually been planning the playthrough but never really got around to it, i've already picked out the perks and stuff. Problem is: I'll need to be able to follow those while ingame, so i found myself a little second monitor. But now it isn't being registered by windows and i just wanna play the best game of all time. Any help would be appreciated! 

The monitor is an old Acer monitor, i believe it's called X193w. (Connects via VGA)
