Any Tips 'N' Tricks for performance Gains on a 940MX ?

going on holiday for a few weeks and the best laptop i can get my hands on has a 940MX, 7700HQ,16GB@2400.

 

Are there any tuning guides or known tips n tricks to maximise frame rates on this low end GPU?

 

currently i'm running latest nvidia drivers with Geforce Experience installed

if you actually bought that laptop new and it was a couple of days ago, return it ! get a laptop with a 8th gen U series or H series CPU and MX150 for 2x the GPU and roughly the same CPU

 

depends what game, probably something along the lines of disable AA and overclock it with MSI Afterburner, assuming temps aren't too hot, if they are you can repaste it if it doesn't void warranty / if you care about the warranty if it does void it which I would care because gaming laptop

crank the memory clock all the way up.

I would try to OC the VRAM, shouldn't impact heat output as much as overclocking the core and should give you a nice peformance bump.

its not overlockable, its a Thinkpad ! And no i didnt buy it, its my work laptop.

 

im interested more in software based things like disabling ansel, shadowplay etc.
