If you're video editing or rendering etc. that is a beast machine and will perform just fine. If you're gaming, although it's still a best, you are burning money.

If you're gaming above 1080p, I wouldn't change anything other than maybe ditching the i7 for an i5 since there is literally no point in having hyper threading and you won't even be able to overclock as high with the added heat output from it. If you're gaming at 1080p then lose the second 780ti and I'd just get a 780 instead of the ti model. I have a normal 780 and a 1440p monitor and I can max out my games fine.

A WD Se whaaat, 32gb of dominator whaaat. Corsair rm 850w, come on now you can do better than that. Seriously what resolution are you gaming at? For gaming you will get no where near 32gb of ram.Don't get the wd se. There's a lot of money that could be saved here and still get the same experience.

Even if money isn't an issue, you're pissing it away on the ram selection alone. If you're not doing any rendering and mostly gaming, 32GB is a waste, especially Platinums. Same goes for an i7 over an i5. For more performance, I'd ditch the EVO and go for 2 Toshiba Q Pro 128GB drives in RAID 0.  IMO, spending 400usd on a motherboard is dumb for a gaming rig.

Don't get me wrong, the rig is solid in every way..but it's the wasted power that bothers me...like tuning your car to have high performance and using it to putt around town instead of taking it to the track. It makes others cry at the idea of a machine not being pushed to its limits.

For 1080p gaming you don't need more than this in fact less would also be good. If you plan on getting a higher resolution monitor in the future go for the 780ti. The power supply is enough for sli in the future. 8gb of ram is all you need and you can get cheaper ram. But these look nice and aren't that different priced to the 1600mhz version.

For cpu the 8350 would also be a good choice. Also cheaper motherboards are available.

1. Budget & Location

3-4k canadian

2. Aim

To be able to game and relax without having to worry about not having the power.

3. Monitors

Asus 24" vg248qe

4. Why are you upgrading?

Upgrade from my current set up which is 5 years old at this point. Be able to run games on max setting and highest res. I just want something that will last me for a another 5 years.

You'll be fine with an i5 and 8-16GB of ram for that no problem. I can understand wanting the i7 if you plan to stick things out for another 5 year cycle. The SLI GTX 780 Ti's offer plenty of power. Like I said, the build is really solid, but some choices are a tad overkill for the purpose.  :P
