High End Build - Custom Gaming PC - £900/£950

Hello again!

I have recently posted about a £700 mid to high end build I was planning on however I believe I may spend a bit more on this build. I am hoping to play the newest games at the highest settings all the time be getting very playable frame rates. I would love to play games such as the Battlefields, Call of Duty's, DayZ, Arma Games, Valve games and many more and just have the best gaming experience for this price.

I have researched various setups - but the main components I am thinking of are:

CPU - Intel Core i5 4670k 4-Core @ 3.4GHz 6MB Cache (Socket 1150)

MOBO - Asus Z87 G43 w/ PCIe 3.0, 4x Memory Slots and Socket 1150
RAM - Kingston HyperX 8GB  2x4GB DDR3 1600Mhz
GPU - Asus GeForce GTX 770 2GB GDDR5 Direct CUII
HDD - Western Digital 500GB 7200RPM (Mass Storage mainly)

SDD - Kingston 120GB 2.5" SSD Drive (Booting OS/Games)

DVD - Lite-On iHas 24x DVD Writer/Drive
PSU - Corsair Builder Series CX650 Watt PSU

[EDIT - 4770k to 4670k & GTX 670 to GTX 770]

OS - Windows 7 64bit (Don't mind on HPr, Prof, Ulti etc.)
CASE - CiT Midi Mesh Case Green - w/ 4 Fans (Green LED)

I will be willing to upgrade this PC in the future for better performance when I get the money but this would perform better than the £700 PC I recently posted about - as I am spending more money on it. Please leave your comments or any changes you think would help the PC's performance.

Many thanks  :D

Thanks for the reply - I was either going to get a 4670K and maybe a GTX 770 or GTX 680 but I thought about the 4770K with a GTX 670 which is a still great card. I am still deciding but I will take that into mind.

You will get a much better gaming performance boost from getting a 4670k and a 770 than a 4770k with a 670 i would strongly advise taking that route unless you do some heavy 3d rendering or something.

Thanks for the advice - I will be using this PC mainly for gaming as I already have an powerful MacBook Pro with an i7 which I use and will use for Work, School Work & maybe Photoshop etc. So I believe that would be the best option, thanks.

...What?

Its a shortened word for Motherboard...  and the fact that it says 'Z87' which is a common Motherboard Chipset (e.g Z77, Z87 etc.)

Might I ask where you will be getting those parts from? I would possibly be interested in buying a similarly priced PC sometime in the near future and that seems like a great price for such a build :)

EDIT: My mistake, I did not realise there was also pcpartpicker for UK, I assume that is where you are getting your price from.

No.. What I meant is that as far as I know, there's no such thing as the motherboard you mentioned.

If your original ram was cheaper, stick with it.

To start, the Memory I was originally getting was actually £62 I recall however this is £70 so I believe £9 isn't a big deal. Also, it's MSI Z87 G43 Gaming. That's my mistake, sorry man.

Is there some reason you can't use uk.pcpartpicker.com?

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
