USB 3.1 Gen2 Header Problems

Hey everyone,

 

Im planning a new build and the case im getting has a USB 3.1 port on the front with a 3.1 internal cable on the inside like this one:

 

 

My problem is that my motherboard does not have this header on it. Are there any Add-in cards or adapters that would let me use the port? I don't really care about the speeds, I just want it to work.

I did like 30 minutes of googling and I couldn't find one. Could you link me to the post where that was answered or to a product page for one? I would greatly appreciate it.

Really. You must fail at google.

 

Lookup PCI USB Type C 3.1 adapter card. Or any variant of. Take your pick of ones with HEADERS on them.

Which is 100% not what i am looking for. I want the front panel header connector for usb3.1 Gen2. Not just some ports out the back

Your the best! That is stupid expensive though. Maybe I'll leave it inoperable lol. Unless anyone else has a solution.

Which is 100% why I said get a card with headers on it, not just external ports.

Here's an even more expensive option, Delock PCI Express Card > 1 x internal USB 3.1 Gen 2 key B 20 pin female.

Couple places I could find it was 80€+.

It being on a PCI card though is a real plus. Thanks! Still stupid expensive.
