I have both a 1Tb SSD and 1Tb HDD. During my windows installation, it only gives me one option for where I want install windows titled “Drive 0 Unallocated Space.         931.5 Total GB, 931.5 Free space”. But shouldn’t there be two options, either on my SSD and my HDD? Unfortunately since they are both 1 Tb I can’t tell which drive they are referring to.

The only one problem I can potentially see is that when I installed my SSD, the SATA cable wouldnt snap into place like my HDD cable did. It still fits snug and doesn’t move, but it doesn’t snap in place and will disconnect if I pull the cable. Is that a problem?

also, since I have already entered my windows product key, is it safe for me to turn off my computer and try again after fixing the problem?

He is right and you should only have one drive plugged in while installing windows. But, it should still show up both drives, from what I am reading on your post it is only showing one. Could be the sata cable, had the same problem with mine. Sure fire way to find out is to go into the boot menu and look at the serial number. Then shut down your system and move the Sata cable to the other drive and go into the boot menu, if they are diff, then sounds like sata cable. I know that sounds like a lot, but that is the only way I can see to trouble shoot the prob.

How old is your board,  I had a problem with my last board where my Sata connections on the board were going bad. Had to move one of my connections to another port. Definitely do not won't that, but another thing to look at while troubleshooting the problem.

If you need clarification let me know. And none of mine snapped, they just fit snug.
