Mercury PSUs are also known as a "silent killer".

Also talking from personal experience. The PSU will work but your other HW will just keep on dying.

The Corsair VS series is pretty bad but compared to the Mercury PSUs... its a premium product.

You should get the Corsair CXM instead.

The brand should be aware of the low quality it delivers.I seen zebronics powersupplies last like 7 years and corsair dying on me was a disgrace.

I love how you buy a brand's LOWEST possible end model and then you call the entire brand as bad lolz... you don't shop for brand you shop for model, all brands have shitty models and great models, Corsair actually has one of the best high end PSU in the market, don't complain about the brand because you're too cheap to afford a decent model.

The VS series is literaly just for a office PCs that will pull no more than 150W-200W from the wall on peaks. The max temp these PSUs can operate without the lifespan of the PSU being affected is lower than the ambient temp of the enviroment in most places.

There is a reason why these are so cheap. They are the lowest end PSU product Corsair has to offer.

The CXM are of a much higher quality while still being very affordable.
