Hello.

I have an Rx 480 GPU for a year now, and I have not seen this problem before, and its really weird.

When I start the GPU intensive game, particullary Rust, I have like average 25-30 FPS on average on medium settings.

When I start the Windows 10 Task Manager it jumps straight from 30 fps to like 90+. I don't know what is causing this problem, but its getting weird.

Litelary only thing I did was open Task manager. Nothing else.

And after like 5-6 minutes, Task manager shuts its self off, and I am back in mid 30 fps.

sounds like a driver problem.

Also need more info about your system.

Clean your drivers and re-install would be my first step. If you are still having issues, I'd check the power draw on the card, make sure its getting enough power, and thermals as Konrad said. It also sounds like there could be a vsync/display issue where the game is thinking its capped at 30 fps, I have seen this in a few games. Try running in windowed mode vs fullscreen (and try disabling/enabling vsync) and see if the fps is any different.

Reinstalled drivers, same problem

The only thing is, as soon as I open Taks Manager the FPS dramaticaly increases

I would reinstall drivers and check the thermals on your card. I used to have similar issues with my RX480 but a driver reinstall and a bios flash has made my card run the way it should.

Alright I will try to update (flash) my bios

I already tried reinstaling drivers, and window or fullscreen mode doesen't make any difference, nor does VSync
