Ok, my great aunt has been using the same computer for 12 years, and when I came over for Easter, I took a look at it. It was completely caked in dust. She was complaining that when she shut down, she would have to get up and leave it would take so long. She was planning on spending $1200 on a new mac, and I told her I could build her a MUCH better computer for $800. SO I picked out all the parts for a good future proof build (She does photoshop work, and basic stuff). I ordered almost everything off Amazon Prime, which is amazing, on last Sunday Night. it got there on Tuesday. The only thing Amazon didn't have was the case. I ordered it form Newegg, and wanted to get it by last wednesday, so I could work on it over the week and get it done by the weekend. I bought the Newegg 2-day select shipping, for an extra $30. It still hasn't come. I talked to Newegg on the phone to get a refund for the shipping, but they told me this big long thing about how it's more than 2 days because of BLAH BLAH BLAH. This kind of stuff really pisses me off. So I would recommend buying from NCIX or Amazon. NOT Newegg.

At the end of the day, although it isn't your fault, it also isn't NewEgg's. It's the courier's problem. I know how frustrating it can be; but can you really fully blame NewEgg for it? I do think they should give you a refund on the shipping cost as it hasn't arrived within the specified time frame; however, they may have conditions relating to refunds for things which are out of their control so you may be stuck there. NewEgg has a very good reputation and things like this will happen from time to time.

Keep in mind, once newegg hands over the box to FedEx, it's totally out of their control. A shipping problem that isn't their fault is NO reason to say that nobody should order from them ever again.

Newegg really has problems though, i recently bought two GPU's from them, both DOA. WHICH before you yell at me, ISN'T NEWEGGS FAULT, where the problems stem from is their customer service. On their website it says the customer has to pay for the return shipping and it automatically send you to pay for shipping when you want to return something. But if you call and yell at them about it they will "Of course we pay for the return shipping, we always do on defective products....." gotta love those BS lines. Which take forever took me two weeks after i sent back the sencond card before i got me refund. and on top of that, it was an AMD card right? which means that it came with the two free games. Bio SHock Inf and Crysis 3. Cool right its AMD's promtion. Well guess what happens when you DON'T return AMD's promotion to NEWEGG? your 320ish refund becomes a 130ish refund...... WHO THE FUCK DECIDED TWO 60 dollar GAMES cost !*) BUCKS?!?!?!?!? Fuck newegg, never again.

when you return something you have to include every thing that came with it or else you get charged a hefty fee, my friend returned a motherboard and forgot to put the I/O cover in with it and they charged him $35 for it.

That is kind of bad though, I can understand physical items not being returned, but the 1st thing you are going to do when you get a new GPU is play those bundled games as they are probably brand new titles.

So if it breaks down within a week you might have to go through an RMA process. If AMD are going to run promotions like that they should work something out with Steam that they can strike games off peoples accounts if the Hardware is faulty. I don't think that's fair at all! You are basically throwing away your return policy!

Yea If i had known...... I wouldn't have installed those two games.... 2 free 60 dollar games cost me 180 bucks. So freaking lame. When i complained about it they told me tough shit, that's the value of the bundle. Complete BS, but we live and learn...

You really can't blame Newegg unless It took them forever to get it to UPS or FedEX. Did you track your shipment? Its possible a mountain pass is closed or there was some other delay. When I had Amazon Prime my 2-day shipping always came about a week late during the winter due to poor weather conditions. I should also add that I need to go pick up a cable from USPS that I ordered from Amazon 3 months ago.

So really you can't bash the retailer for something the courier messed up.

Yeah, how can you be expected to predict a fault occurring? I wouldn't let that go, you are at least owed $60, couldn't see that happening in the UK, can't understand why it would happen anywhere else either! Obviously never used Newegg, usually hear good things though, but they shouldn't be allowed to sell the promotion if that's their policy, it's bad publicity for AMD.

It's also not Newegg's fault if you don't return everything to them for RMA. Newegg most-likely gets charged if everything isn't included. Hence the hefty charges they then send to you, the customer.

I did a PSU RMA to OCZ and made sure to read what they wanted me to send back. This meant sending my PSU back with ALL the cables, books, and literature. With the EXCEPTION of the power cable as described in the email (which said i may not receive another one). I received a brand new PSU with free shipping both ways. It also included a new power cord, so it's going in my backup bin.

Read the fine print before you crawl up someones butt and you'll be less-likely to be upset!

I buy from new egg, ncix and amazon. I have to say ncix and new egg for me are the best (because I don't have prime) shipping wise. Newegg is close to me so I get free shipping in 1-2 days. Ncix is also good. Amazon I had an issue with recently because they held my package for 3 days before shipping. They also shipped that out of a warehouse within 50 miles of me so it could have been in a day.

LOL, no offense but what you should of read the fine print, before scratching off the code for the games, I had newegg do me wrong 1 time and it was over my MSI Mpower motherboard, UPS lost it in the mail, NOT NEWEGGS FAULT, When I ordered the mobo it came with 8GB of memory for free, when they gave me back my refund they only gave me back $164.99, they were suppose to give me $209.99 back, when contacting newegg, they said the same thing to me as well and gave me the run around. Me personally I refuse to let anyone screw me out of anything, I bugged newegg for a week strait and they ended up giving me a $39.99 credit back :) so I was only short $10 at the end of it all. about a mouth and a half ago I bought 2 7950's from newegg again, this time I was not going to let them screw me out of my money in case I had to RMA either of the GPU's, I never scratched off the Never settle Reloaded promo cards, instead I stuck a flash light underneath one of the promo cards and got the code that way, I never scratched of the code on the card :). It all comes down to how you watch your own ass, if you never read fine print you will always get screwed, and for god sack man, never let newegg win, bitch, bitch and bitch some more, trust me if they know your not going to take it up the ass, they will give you pretty much what you wanted. This also go for the OP as well. READ THE FINE PRINT, no matter what company you order from they all have Fine print you need to read, Wether that is NCIX, Newegg, TigerDirect etc.

P.S. When I went through the MOBO thing with newegg, I did receive the 8 GB of memory :) so after all when I reordered the mobo they sent me another 8GB of memory for free, so guess what, I ended up paying only $10 for 16GB of memory. :)

Why is everyone just ordering from a few companies? There are so many these days that are rock solid (including NewEgg.com here) that I basically build shopping carts and then compare the prices after tax/shipping if applicable and order from the cheapest, of course factoring if its in stock.

Google is your friend, don't go with one or two vendors when you have a world of vendor's available, even some stuff from Europe has been cheaper even though its made in the USA, well China but you know what I mean. Yes, I know there the noted bad boys but if you're doing your homework you know who to avoid as well, if not search and see what people think. I know plenty of people that hate NewEgg.com, NCIX.com, Amazon, etc. so you have to use your brain as well. I usually have my tax free vendors which even with shipping big ticket items tax is best avoided and cheaper even though the base price is more (people use vendors out of state! No TAX!)

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

If you call them and request a return shipping label, they'll be happy to do so. I've had 4 DOA products in 2012 out of over 300, and every time I asked for a return label and they always emailed me one.

Summer build: I7-4770K @ 4.5GHz, 4x4GB (Alternative black/red) DDR3 1600MHz, HD 7970GHz Water blocked, XSPC res/pump combo, 2 dual 120MM radiators, Corsair 350D Case, Corsair AX860I 80+ Gold PSU, custom red individually sleeved cables, red tubing w/ silver/chrome compression fittings, 480GB Crucial M500 SSD, ASrock Z87 MATX professional board, and a Corsair Vengeance K60 keyboard.
