Should I upgrade from I5-3470 to I3-8100?

My rigs were quite old, I've got it since 2012. And I've been thinking about this upgrade, but I don't know whether or not it's worth it. 

Can you guy give me some thoughts on this?

You will need new ram and motherboard. Honestly, not really.

If your overall computer usage demands it, then go. If not, stick to it for now.

I recently purchased the i3 8100 along with the necessary RAM and Mobo and it is wonderful. I would highly recommend if you are looking for an upgrade. You will definitely see a difference.
