About The Corsair Void Headset

I'm looking to get a new headset soon to replace my old Turtle Beach P12, and I come across the Corsair Void Pro. Can anyone with experience with the Corsair Void Pro tell me about its strengths and weaknesses?

I'm specifically looking for;

1. What can I expect from the mic?

2. How's the build durability?
3. How's it sound with 320kbps music?

4. Good for CSGO footstep audio?

5. Is there any headset alternatives I should have in mind?

Mic is good, decent noise canceling.

build is good

i don't listen to music on the so i can't comment.

Also no idea. There is a little directionality, but i find it's pretty misleading. foot steps ahead of me sound like they are right beside me.

???

I own one so i'll give you the details.

1) The mic will pick up everything, and i mean everything.

2) The cups are a bit on the loose side and tends to move around if you swing your head alot, that is not an issue if you prefer it not being clamped to your head.

3) The connect will only work with the wireless dongle, meaning the charging wire is only there for charging, nothing else.

4) The RGB is a battery hog so most just turn it off completely.

I forgot to mention I would be going for a USB wired version and not the wireless, so the whole battery thing wouldn't concern me.

I do appreciate what you have said so far though, I like my headsets to be quite loose since clamping headsets do hurt after long sessions.

Here's my personal experience and it may be not representative of everyone's:
1. Gotta speak up a bit
2. Good, I threw it ones really hard trough my living room and it did well to withstand the flight as well as the landing
3. It sounds OK, but I'm more on the exigent side for audio. So it may be good for others
4. Yes, absolutely.
5. Steelseries Arctis 7

Thank you for your answers, the Voids do sound like a headset I'd be invested in. The Arctic 7 I'm not such a big fan of because of the whole Bluetooth system, but to each their own.
