Building new system with old storage devices

Go to solution Solved by Airdragonz,

There's an option in the windows install utility to reformat. I would recommend using that if you are installing windows. If not, format manually as per the OS requires.

I'm going to be building a new system in the next few weeks and i want to install the OS onto an M.2 NVMe SSD. I already have the M.2 drive, but it is full of crap from my current PC.

Do i need to format the M.2 ready for the OS installation or will that happen automatically when the OS is installed?

Thanks in advance for any replies :)
