4k 144hz exists. Dunno about 1ms though. This one has 4ms.

Hi everyone, first time poster here. I'm looking to blow all my money on the best gaming set up I can. Does any one know if true 4k / 1ms response time / 120hz refresh rate (or greater) monitors exist? And, if so, what would be considered the "absolute best to get".

Thanks!

What's "True 4K"? Because if you're looking for something like 4096x2160 or whatever, you're not going to find it because most computer monitors use 4K to be 3840x2160. High refresh rate UHD/4K monitors are just starting to come out and they're pretty expensive to boot.

And response time is a largely meaningless spec. You won't notice a difference between 1ms or 4ms.

They're starting to come around now, but aren't really readily available yet.

Also, 1ms response times are basically meaningless, I wouldn't get hung up on that. Seems like a lot will be IPS anyway, which won't be 1ms, but will have better colours (not that you can tell the difference between 1ms and 4-6ms of IPS anyway)

They're gonna be expensive though. (like, really expensive)

Thanks guys, I guess they don't make them in 1ms response rates, but from the feedback, it looks like that's not too important here.

You're basically looking at the Acer Predator X27 / Asus PG27UQ based on the AUO 144HZ G-Sync FALD HDR panel. Those are about as good as it'll get.
