So im thinking about getting a h100i so I can start OC-ing my CPU. But I don't know if i have enough power. I currently have a corsair ax760i to power a i7-4770k + 2x HD7950. I think I'm already quite close to my PSUs limit with this setup and I'm wondering if I can squeeze in water-cooling.

You probably could, though i wouldn't risk it.

It's recommend for a 7950 Crossfire to have a reliable 800W power supply.

Wouldnt take that advice... Didnt take the time to try write neatly and the only other time I saw him posting he was abusing CSGO because you needed to jump everywhere on it and couldnt look down sites...

Also his build is pretty kickass but why have 16gb of ram when you could drop 8 and get an ssd...

Anyways, it sounds like its pretty stretched already you might have to get a new power supply after all

Damn.... I don't really want to buy a new PSU since my build is only two months old. Is air-cooling lighter on power consumption? If not ill have to get a new PSU after all.

Your system is nothing next to his, comparing an FX-4130 and a 650Ti Boost to a 3570K and a Crossfire of 7950 is just stupid man.

Your PSU might handle it, but just watch out.

what i was getting at is that yes a 760 watt is way more then enough to supply that.

I think that you have zero knowledge on how much juice a single 7950 draws on load.

push the overclocks as far as the h100 can handle and see if it can handle it.

But at stock you will be fine
