Your CPU GPU combo takes about 490W under load.

Any newer GPU will require less power. With the 650W you'll be okay.

For future reference:

PSU calculators are useless and overestimate by a ton. In general, you're closer to the real power draw if you halve the estimate. And that's still a crappy estimate

If I fill all the information, it basically gives me this

Load Wattage: 780 W
Recommended UPS rating: 1750 VA
Recommended PSU Wattage: 830 W

You're not going to get anywhere close to 780W under load with a single GPU system.

Yeah the one he linked recommended a 750 watt B2 from EVGA for my system, when i know even a 450/500 would be plenty lol.

#1 reason i don't recommend them to people, having the extra wattage is never a bad thing, but the over spending when its not needed is :P

Lets just ignore the fact I do have a 750w psu though, it was cheap okay

If it's the XXX Pro edition, consider replacing it sometime in the future. If it's any other 650W XFX, it should be plenty good.

Yep.  I was going to say the same thing.  WHICH XFX 650W?  There's half a dozen of them and they're not all good.

Is 650w XFX power supply enough for 4960x and oc'd 780ti, or maybe even for 10/11 series nvidia card in the future?

Edit: Thank you all for your replies. You truly are the best.

What XFX PSU?

Also a 780 Ti and 4960X will draw about 400W under load, so if the PSU you have is decent then you shouldn't have any issues.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
